If you only see an error message when starting iCu2 that states Abnormal Program Termination, please read below

If you have iCu2 set to "connect on startup" for ICQ/ Yahoo / MSN / AIM but have not entered any username or password, the abnormal program termination window appears as iCu2 is trying to connect to those messengers but does not have the user/pass to be able to connect to them.

To resolve this issue:

1. Turn off iCu2
2. Go into your iCu2 folder (it will either be in My Computer - C - Program Files or My Computer - C - Program Files - iCu2)
3. Locate and delete the file called icuii.ini (it may only say iCu2 but is easy to locate as the icon is a notepad with a gold cog/wheel on it).
4. After deleting that file, start iCu2 and you will be asked to re-enter your name, location, comments, etc. Doing this will also reset the settings for MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM and should resolve the issue.

If you do want to use iCu2 for connecting to your MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM pal lists, please remember to enter the username/password for those programs before clicking on the "connect on startup" area. If either of the text areas are left empty you may get the error message again and would have to follow the procedure again for deleting the icuii.ini
