ActionTec DSL Modem and ICUII
The information below should assist you in setting up your ActionTec DSL modem to work with iCu2:
On iCu2:
1: Go into Tools - Options - Ports
2: Switch from Direct to Network
3: Make sure Normal Ports and Network Ports both say:
Primary Port: TCP 2000
Secondary Port: TCP 2001
4: At the end of the "Network / Firewall / Router.." text you will see "IP Address" --- Take note of that IP address
On the ActionTec's admin area (screenshots available here: http://www.coinfotech.com/support/actiontec_advanced_setup_static_ip.htm):
1: Go to the Advanced Area
2: Then enter the Port Forwarding Area
3: Enter this data:
IP Port Range Protocol IP address
2000-2001 TCP (IP you took note of)
4: Click on "Add"
At this point you may need to restart your iCu2/Computer for the changes to take affect.
