Belkin Routers with ICUII
The information below will assist you in setting up one or more computer on iCu2 with a Belkin Router
(Note: Do NOT use the iCu2 settings listed in the pull down menu on the Belkin Admin Page. They are outdated and incorrect)
This information is for the Belkin 54g Wireless Cable/ADSL router model #F5D7230-4 but should work with all Belkin Routers
*Always make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your Router before proceeding (unless otherwise stated). Check your Router manufacturer's Support Area on their website to obtain the newest firmware.
If you have only 1 computer to setup, or if this is the first computer you are setting up for iCu2:

On The Belkin:
1: Log into the Admin Area for the Belkin Router and go to the "Virtual Servers" area
2: Make an entry similar to the one below. Remember that you have to use the IP address you took note of (not necessarily the same as the one in the screenshot). Also remember to tick/check the "Enable" box.
The Virtual Server Area should look something like this after you have set it up for iCu2 on 1 computer.
Enable Desc Inbound Port Type Priv IP Private Port ticked iCu2-1 2000-2001 TCP IP for computer 1 2000-2001
3: Click on "Apply Changes"
4: Start iCu2
If you want to add a second, third, fourth computer / iCu2 to your home network, make sure you have setup the first computer as detailed above, then do this to add the subsequent computers / iCu2s:

On The Belkin:
1: Log into the Admin Area for the Belkin Router and go to the "Virtual Servers" area
2: Make an new entry, this time directing TCP 2002-2003 to the IP address of computer 2. Remember that you have to use the IP address you took note of for computer 2. Also remember to tick/check the "Enable" box.
The Virtual Server Area should look something like this after you have set it up for 2 iCu2s
Enable Desc Inbound Port Type Priv IP Private Port ticked iCu2-1 2000-2001 TCP IP for computer 1 2000-2001 ticked iCu2-2 2002-2003 TCP IP for computer 2 2002-2003
3: Click on "Apply Changes"
4: Start iCu2
If you want to add a third computer, simply follow the instructions for the second computer remembering to give iCu2's Tools - Options - Ports unique ports (ie 2004-2005) and then make another entry in the Virtual Server for iCu2-3
