Why can I only Forward a QM to a Moderator?

{mosimage}If you attempt to forward a Quick Message and the pull down menu only states "Select A Moderator "..And shows a list of Moderator's names (assuming there are any online)

This is because one of the two following scenarios are true:

1: The original QM was created prior to iCu2 7.6

To explain why Quick Messages created prior to iCu2 7.6 are no longer forwardable. Many iCu2 users were unhappy that their QMs were able to be forwarded without their permission or knowledge. Especially Quick Messages that had been created before QM Forwarding had been introduced. For this reason, it was decided that all QMs created prior to iCu2 7.6 should not be able to be forwarded. You will still be able to view QMs that were forwarded to you prior to iCu2 7.6

{mosimage}2: The QM was originally sent as "not forwardable"

With the introduction of iCu2 7.6, an "Allow Forwarding of this message" selector has been added so that users have better control over their sent QMs. If you tick/check the "allow forwarding" area. Your Quick Message will be able to be forwarded to anyone iCu2. If you untick/uncheck the "allow forwarding" area, the Quick Message will not be available to be forwarded by any iCu2 users (including yourself).

The QM composer will remember the last setting you chose for forwarding. So always ensure that you make the right selection for forwarding before sending the Quick Message.

If neither of the scenarios listed above are true. The pull-down menu will show a list of all pals on your pal list that you can forward the Quick Message to.
