1: Right mouse click on your speaker icon by your clock and choose "Recording Devices"

2: On the new window that appears look for anything that says "Microphone right click on one of them and choose "Set As Default Device". If you have multiple microphones try each one until you locate the one you want to use.

If you didn't see "Microphone", try right clicking in that window and choose "Show Disconnected Devices" and "Show Disabled Devices", then try step 2 again.

3: Select "Microphone" then click on Properties.

4: On the new window that appears, click on the "Levels" tab and put your volume slider somewhere between 30 to 50% ( ask in the lobby if it sounds ok and adjust accordingly) and click on OK.

7: Start iCu2 (if iCu2 was already running, you may have to restart it for the changes to take affect) and create a QM to someone. Change the Attachment Type to "Audio" and click on Record while talking. Press "Stop" then press "Play" and listen to what you recorded...

If you heard your voice, You have set up your audio properly.

If you heard nothing at all. Try repeating this tutorial again.
