How to have 2 or more iCu2 programs / users on 1 computer

When we introduced iCu2 8.1 we changed the way iCu2 was installed to make it easier (in some aspects) for users to have more than 1 installation of iCu2 on their computer.

The way it works now is each Windows "User Account" can install it's own copy of iCu2.

To have a 2nd installation of iCU2 on your computer, you would have to either:

1: Already have 2 (or more) Windows User Accounts (you'll see them when you start your computer and login to Windows, if you do) and then log into the Windows User Account that doesn't have iCu2 installed on it already.

or

2: Create a new Windows User Account (click here to see how to create a new Windows User Account)  via your Windows Control Panel. Then log into the new User Account and download / install iCu2.

Then you can switch (shown below) between Windows User Accounts to access your own, personal iCu2 account.

The benefits of this approach are that each user can have their own Pal List, Saved/Sent Quick Messages, Profile, Trivia Score, Ignore List. It also makes the process of updating your iCu2 program much simpler.

However, please bear in mind that if you have 2 installations of iCu2 on 1 computer, you would need to own 2 registration codes.

This guide only works for iCu2 8.1 users (or higher), if you have 8.0.6 or lower, please update to (click here to download and install) the newest iCu2 before creating new accounts for iCu2 (as described in this tutorial)
