ICUII Pal List colors and what they mean

The iCu2 Pal Status' are as follows:

iCu2 Pals:

When set to Normal Visibility, your Directory and Pal List status (online/offline) is determined by the Visible/Invisible icon at the top of the iCu2 Directory.

When you are Always Visible to someone in your Pal List, that person will see you as online in their Pal List, even if you are invisible from the directory.

When you are never visible to someone in your Pal List, that person will not see you in the directory or the Pal List (unless you send that person a Quick Message)

Note: if you want to put someone on your Never Visible list, it is advisible to follow these steps to ensure that you are removed from that persons Online Pal List immediately:

1: Set yourself as Invisible to the directory (top left of the directory window, click on Actions - Make Me Invisible)
2: Select the person you want to put on Never Visible
3: Return to Actions - Make Me Invisible and click to remove the tick by that setting.

External Messengers:

The purple icon with an AIM represents a contact in your Pal List who is using the AOL Instant Messenger. You can only send messages these people when they are listed as online in your Pal List as AIM does not support the reception of offline messages.

The green icon with an ICQ represents a contact in your Pal List who is using the ICQ Messenger. You can send and receive both online and offline messages with this Messenger as ICQ supports the sending and reception of offline messages.

The blue icon with an M represents a contact in your Pal List who is using Windows/MSN Messenger. You can only send messages to these people when they are listed as online in your Pal List as this messenger does not support the reception of offline messages. Also, you can only send messages to people using this messenger if you are visible in the iCu2 directory, as this messenger does not allow you to send messages when you appear as offline.

The red icon with an Y represents a contact in your Pal List who is using the Yahoo Messenger. You can send and receive both online and offline messages with this Messenger as Yahoo supports the sending and reception of offline messages.

Please note that with all external messengers it is only possible to send and receive text messages. It is not possible to send Picture / Video / Audio Quick Messages to users of these Messengers.

Also, please note that ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, AIM users cannot send you video, audio, game, file transfer, etc requests while you are using the External Messengers via iCu2. If you have to do any of these things, you must disable the EIM on iCu2 and log on to the regular Messenger program.
