If you are no longer hearing the audible alerts for incoming Calls, Quick Messages, etc. Please read the information below:

Have a look in iCu2's Settings - Configure Sounds area (it's on the main iCu2
Toolbar, where it says iCu2 Registered Version).

From that area, you can configure the sounds to play, your sound files should be in c:\program files\iCu2\sounds  or c:\program files\iCu2\sounds (depends on when you installed iCu2 as to where the exact location will be).

If you find that there are no sounds in the folder, reinstalling iCu2(over the top of your existing iCu2) will re-add the sounds. You may still have to do the configuration for the sounds as mentioned above though.

The sound associations should be as follows:


  1.. call appeared - Hello.wav
  2.. call ended -Discon.WAV
  3.. capture - Camera1.WAV
  4.. message failed - blip002.wav
  5.. message sent - fx2.WAV
  6.. Quick Message - zap.WAV
  7.. QM Appeared - Hello.wav
  8.. Room Enter - dooropen.WAV
  9.. Room Exit - doorslam.Wav

That will fix any problem with the automated sounds (hello, goodbye, quick message etc).
