Miscellaneous area

The Misc area lets you change a multitude of settings for iCu2. They are described below:

Reuse User Details and Profile Windows: This is enabled by default. Using this feature reduces the clutter on your screen as iCu2 will not open multiple User Detail / User Profile windows. It will simply refresh the data in the same window.

Always log me on in INVISIBLE mode on Startup: This option is not enabled by default. If enabled, whenever you start iCu2, you will be logged into the iCu2 Directories as an invisible user. This is useful if you want to log onto iCu2 and not receive alot of messages when you first start iCu2 as no one will know that you are online yet.

Require Other Users to ask for Authorization: This is a pal list function that is not enabled by default. If enabled, anyone wanting to add you to their pal list, must send an authorization request to you, which you have the option to accept or decline. If you accept, that person will be able to see your online/offline status in their pal list. If you decline the request, you wil appear as offline in the persons pal list unless you send them a Quick Message.

Show User Info Comment and Location in the User List: If selected you see "Name" "Location" "Comments" in the directory's User List. If not selected, you will only see "Name" in the directory's User List.

Double Clicking users Starts Quick Message (instead of calling): If selected, when you double click on a user name in the directory's User List (or Pal List), a QM Composer window will open for that person. If not selected, double clicking on a user name in the directory's User List (or Pal List) a Private Call / Connect request will be sent to that person.

List Font Size: (Small|Medium|Large|Huge) This determines the size of the text in the User Directory List, Pal List and Message Center. Small is the default. Use a larger size if you have problems seeing the text clearly.

Capture Timer Delay: This is used in the Quick Message Composer. Setting it to 5 seconds will allow you to click on the timed image capture button in the QM Composer and a 5 second delay will occur before the image capture is taken.

Group Chat section (these settings all relate to the Chat Lobby)

Send Camera Snapshot with Group Chat Posts: If selected, a small live image from your webcam will be sent whenever you type a message into the Chat Lobby. If not, selected, a default image will be sent whenever you type a message into the Chat Lobby.

Show Pictures in Group Chat Posts: If selected, you will see images of other users each time they type into the Chat Lobby (unless they have disabled the option above). If not selected, you will not see any images in the Chat Lobby messages.

Show time in Group Chat Posts:  Determines whether a timestamp will be viewable to you when each message arrives in the Chat Lobby.

Maximum Chat Posts Displayed: This determines how many messages will be shown in the Chat Lobby. If you select 25 (default). You will see the last 25 messages sent to the Chat Lobby, all messages before that will be automatically deleted.

Panic Mode

Minimize Application Immediately: Clicking on the Panic Button will minimize all of your iCu2 windows to your taskbar straight away.

Exit Application Immediately: Clicking on the Panic Button will close/exit your iCu2 Program straight away.

None: Nothing will happen when you click on the Panic Button
